So my doctor directory from SWICA told me it's an ENT doctor and the secretaries clearly heard I'm making an appointment for my EAR CONDITION. One week later, I found out he's not seeing that patients anymore ONLY AFTER I WENT THERE. He suggested to make an appointment with an ear doctor but while he's doing it, I asked him if I can make an appointment with a GP because my other issue was more relevant by then. Then he became livid, rant for a while and toss me a number to a GP who doesn't even speak English. Isn't it me who's supposed to be mad because of a mis-appointment? Anyway I reckon you value your time very much, much more than the patient's one.👍 Reading reviewes here, I think it's a running issue of this doctor for a long time.

I have never imagined having such a bad experience with a medical clinic in Switzerland. I went to Doctor Arza for a check up after an accident and he confirmed a fracture that needed repair later on. When I had the first appointment I provided all the details of both insurances (base accident and private accident). Later on I received a bill, which should have been sent directly to the insurance and to be paid by the insurance. I called back the clinic and asked why I receive it and I got the answer that it is my duty to pay their bill and request reimbursement from the insurance. Insurance stated that first of all they had to receive the medical report from Dr. Arza and on top of that the bill has to be in the name and addressed to the insurance. ... one year (day for day) later, after many many calls, emails, letters from my side to Dr.Arza and from the insurance to Dr. Arza, we (the insurance and I) could not get a hand on the medical report for the first appointment (which was requested by the insurance and without which the insurance would not accept to schedule my surgery), nor on my complete medical file (that I requested and which he is also obliged by law to provide to the patient when requested). I had to ask for help (one after one year!) from the "Bureau cantonal de médiation santé et social", who had to make the request twice. Then I finally got a copy of my file... that I sent to the insurance. (I don't know if the insurance ever got the report requested from the Dr, which is also an obligation by law, or if they used the copy of the file that I have provided them. And now I can schedule my surgery. So that is that, but then there was also the bill that I had paid and that I should have not. I called the clinic again and requested the reimbursement and I was told that they will look at that one day IF they will have time. Having no answer 2 months later, I asked again for help from "Bureau cantonal de médiation santé et social". They had to request twice (again), but I finally received the money... And we are only talking about 240.- What would have happened if I would have had the operation with Dr. Arza and I would have fought to get back several thousands of CHFs ? Note: I'm still waiting for the surgery, but I will not allow Dr. Arza to do it, nor his colleague that he is working with. Nothing against his colleague but I just lost all confidence in CH medical care, specially if is somehow related with a surgery...
