Leaving an honest review for other pregnant momma's to be so they do not have to experience the same trauma. In summary, I highly recommend to avoid Dr. Wagner. Some of my experiences below: -rude, unpleasant, empathy level less than 0/10 -did not call me back about my medical tests until I called them several times. She also told us that if we don't want to pay all the “non-mandatory tests” out of pocket we obviously do not want the best for our child “like most other parents”. She also only seems interested to give information when it has to do with selling the non-mandatory tests which are not covered by insurance. - did not register my pregnancy to the insurance even though this has to be done by the gyno and I asked her to do it several times. This meant that I had to pay all bills out of pocket which I am still trying to get reimbursed (extra unnecessary hassle) -she outsources all her calls to operators in germany that know nothing about the swiss health care system. -most important: they gave me wrong medical advice. Her team informed me that I can only receive the flu shot during pregnancy after 26+ weeks. I called them again following contact with the BAG, where they informed me that this is totally incorrect. Pregnancy is hard enough.... please find (literally) anyone else in Basel to support you.

I have been visiting Dr. Wagner’s clinic since early 2024, and I’ve been extremely happy with the service. Dr. Wagner is patient, attentive, and takes the time to address any concerns while explaining everything thoroughly. She truly makes you feel cared for and at ease. Her staff are equally amazing—always kind, professional, and welcoming. The atmosphere in the clinic is warm and reassuring, which makes every visit a positive experience. I was recommended to Dr. Wagner by a colleague who is also very happy coming here, and I can confidently say that it was a fantastic recommendation. If you’re looking for a caring and professional gynecologist, I highly recommend Dr. Wagner!

I had a very uncomfortable experience with Dr Wagner. From the very beginning of the interaction I didn’t feel right about this, but still decided to give her a shot. Her communication style seemed very cold and distant. Rather than empathetically listening to my symptoms, she seemed more focused and interested on sharing extensive research and information— perhaps to showcase her knowledge which was rather irrelevant to address my specific concerns. The interaction with her ultimately left me confused and uncomfortable. But her staff is friendly. Will definitely not return and recommend her.
